  • QuestionWill the nest doorbell cam automatically "pop-up" onscreen when the doorbell is rung, revealing the visitor?

    Asked by Frankel.

    • Answer Hi Frankel82! For a Nest doorbell, you'll have to set up an Alexa routine to show the doorbell when the button is pressed. I had to do this for my Blink doorbell, and the process was pretty simple using the Alexa app. As of right now, only Ring doorbells can be set to automatically start streaming to a compatible Alexa enabled device like the Echo Hub. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!

  • QuestionDoes this work with Super live Plus camera system?

    Asked by Brad0562.

    • Answer Hi Brad0562, No, the Echo Hub (and most Alexa devices) won’t natively connect to the Super Live Plus camera system or its DVR/NVR, because Amazon’s camera integration only works with cameras that have an Alexa-approved skill or built-in support. Most CCTV systems like Super Live Plus don’t have that kind of Alexa compatibility. Hope this helps!

  • QuestionWill this work with ADT, and can I see live video of it

    Asked by Melissa.

    • Answer Hi Melissa! You can control your ADT system with the Echo Hub by adding the ADT skill using the free Alexa App. This will allow you to arm or disarm your system, as well as control many other features with your voice. From looking online it appears ADT's cameras are Google Nest cameras, which are also compatible with Alexa. I usually add skills via the Alexa App. From the main screen tap on the three lines icon at the bottom for 'More', then select 'Skills & Games.' Search for ADT and sign in using your ADT account to link everything up! You will also need to do the same thing for the Nest cameras to get the most functionality. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!
