How do I get the ads off this kindle null

Hello Sforaker,
 To remove special offers from your Kindle, follow these steps:
1. Go to Manage Your Content and Devices. 
2. Select Devices, and then select your device. 
3. Under Special Offers, click Remove offers. A pop-up window then displays the price to remove special offers. Select End Offers and Pay the Fee to proceed.

Talk to people where you bought it. I think you can get them off. They have never bothered me as I don't even think about them. If you pay extra at purchase you can get one without ads. I just push a button to turn the reader on and scroll to "next page" to read where I left off.
