A:Answer “Special offers” are the ads that come up on your Kindle when you turn it on. Usually they are promoting one book or a genre of literature. I haven’t heard of any way of getting around these offers, unless you want to pay a lot more for a Kindle. For the price, i found the special offers “not an issue”. I’ve even found some fiction on sale and picked up a couple of books on sale, giving me some extra fiction in case I get stuck and would rather read what I have than pick up a magazine. Overall? “special offers” is advertising for more Kindle books. You have the choice whether or not to purchase. Use your app on your computer to manage your Kindle and its content; if you accidentally purchase something, you can return it if you act quickly or contact Amazon and tell them you didn’t intend to buy it; I’ve never had a problem with getting a refund .
