• Our power good out quite often. The thermostat picks up as if the power was never off.

• Hi Holomat! If the internet drops out, you can still control it from the thermostat itself, you just wont be able to control it from your phone or smart device. Rest assured, if the internet drops, it wont interfere with the thermostat and it will still work on the current setting you have. Hope this helps and have a great day!
