A:AnswerSorry... the Geek Squad does not install outdoor antennas. They will install indoor antennas and help with streaming devices. Here is a link to the Geek Squad page. Unless they've changed their business model - you may want to start a chat with someone at Best Buy.
A:AnswerWe are able to receive 12 stations. These come from 2 different towers about 45 degrees apart. I tried to set the antenna so it would be in the middle. I don't know why sometimes when watching a program the picture will go off where we are watching but will be on a channel on the other tower. When watching, when the show is coming in, the picture is great. I do not know if the antenna can be split for 2 tv"s
A:AnswerThey call that stacking and yes it will help with signal strength . Just put the 2 cables from each antenna and put them through a combiner splitter and hook up the single output from the splitter to your TV set .
A:AnswerWith any OTA digital antennae, direct line of sight to the broadcast tower is critical. So short answer to your question, Yes trees or other structures will interfere with signal quality. It also does matter which direction an OTA antennae is pointed and not all stations lie in the same direction.
A:AnswerWith the ClearStream 4MAX, it does not require power. Some outdoor installations, based on where you are located and the signal strength coming from the towers, a preamplifier might be needed. Once you have your antenna installed and if you are not receiving all the available channels in your area - you can see all the available channels in your area https://www.antennasdirect.com/transmitter-locator.html - if you need assistance, we have a great team of tech support available 7 days a week. You can call us toll-free 877-825-5572.
A:AnswerYou can split the signal as many times as you want, but signal quality drops. I split mine to 3 TV's with no problems. If you find you lose channel reception after splitting it, buy a signal booster and than split it to the multiple TV's.
A:AnswerThe average person can install this antenna without paying more for its installation. Then, it's a simple matter of turning or moving the antenna into the optimum position to find channels. Ours works best at a 40 degree angle to the wall but not invariably. We opted not to mount it on a wall or in the attic where our analog antenna is. We can actually turn it a different way to get Richmond rather than Salisbury or Baltimore channels. It's rather large, when used as rabbit ears, but we get a clear pictures and sound even during rain storms by moving the antennae. This antenna is one of the best products I ever purchased. We're women. My mother is 85, and I'm 65. A friend of mine assembled it for us.

A:AnswerYes. This will hook to any coaxial port on any TV. Then it just pulls in over-the-air signal. Existing cable boxes will not impact this antennas performance.

A:AnswerInteresting question. To my knowledge the Europeans use the same frequencies as North America; only the format is different. Or it was prior to digital.
EIther way, the format is irrelevant. All that matters is that the frequencies are the same. If so then it will work in theory. Practically speaking you need to hook it up. Are televisions there connected using RG6 coax and F connectors? I ask because a relative brought back a universal TV from Italy and it worked fine, but took us forever to find the correct form factor for the antenna plug.
Short answer, it should work in theory, but make sure you have the same connectors which is F type.
A:AnswerHello Ron:
Yes you can mount this in your attic, it is made for this purpose, making sure you mount it as high as possible and that the cones face toward the city you want to receive reception from.
A:AnswerHi Robbie, the towers need to be "within" the distance listed to receive TV signals. For the ClearStream 4MAX, it can receive TV signals from a tower a mile away or from a tower as far as 70 miles away. I hope this helps!
