It will work for you. The only problem with UPS's is the initial surge (as in a refrigerator or laser printer). Constant power is no problem. I would estimate a 20 minute period with no power that would be covered by this unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work fine make sure to plug into the battery side and not the surge. You can test it by unplugging from the wall the pump should continue to run. Time depends on the size of your pump but I would guess 30 min .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A small air pump yes. Maybe 3 to 4 hours. A small to meduim magnetic drive pump like a marineland with 1 filter may go for a few hours. 30 gallon or less type pump. The bigger the battery the longer the run time. Don't connect the heater or lights to the battery it will quickly run the power down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Running at 50 watts it will provide 37 min of backup power in the event of a power loss. Granted the battery has a full charge, which takes approximately 8 hours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your inquiry. We do not recommend connecting our BackUPS unit to aquarium equipment due to the damage that can occur from water. Usually they are connected to computer equipment. Given that information if you still do decide to connect the pump to our BackUPS it would depend on what kind of power the pump draws. The unit would support 255 watts for 2 minutes and 127 watts for 10 minutes.
