• The AirPods will be able to pair the old fashioned way via Bluetooth pairing to any Bluetooth 4.0 device, so as long as you have a device that's compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 stereo headphones, the AirPods will be able to work with it.

• I have connected to other devices very easily. There is a button on the back of the case and that helps for pairing with non Apple devices.
