A:AnswerYes, I just returned from Germany and it worked perfectly to track my items. I was also able to track my items in The States while traveling overseas.
A:AnswerIt states on the documentation with them that the batteries last approx. 1 year checking several times a day every day. They take a CR2032 button battery.
A:AnswerIt only shows up on the apple profile it was synced to. So any apple product with your icloud account will show the devices when you login and open find my device app. However, the tracking accuracy is achieved by any Apple product the tags can ping off which in turn updates its location to the synced icloud account.
A:AnswerNo the AirTag does not have that feature. For that you could use a Tile. Using the AirTag by itself will not help you find your iPhone. The AirTag is only a tracker. If your lost iPhone supports the Find My app and you had the iPhone synced to iCloud you will need another Apple device such as an iMac, iPad or another iPhone to locate your missing iPhone.
If you have an older iPhone that does not support the Find My app, you can stick an AirTag to the back of the iPhone to track it. But again you will need another Apple device to locate the AirTag if you loose it.
