Q: QuestionWhat does open box mean?
Asked by Munna1.
- A:Answer Beware of open box. I have had a lot of success with open box, however buyer beware. I just tried to buy a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 as open box. It was listed as satisfactory meaning that it would have all the required items but may be missing non-essential items. Went to pick up and it did not have a power cord. Was told that power was not an essential item since it could run off the battery. I asked them how I was to charge the battery and was told that since it could run off a battery the power cord was non-essential. This was the first time I ever had an issue with open box. The worst part is I drove 40 mi round trip. I returned it and all the accessories that had purchased. I am a current Elite Member because I spend too much money at Best Buy. Guess I will head over to Amazon and buy the exact same thing and wait a day for delivery...

Q: QuestionWhat does "with WiFi" mean on all of the ipad selections?
Asked by MiMi.
- A:Answer There are 2 typesof iPads that you can buy, regardless of size/capacity. iPad "with Wifi" and iPad "Wi-Fi + Celluar". "With WiFi" means that you can only get on the Internet or download apps via the App Store when you are at home on your home's Wifi Internet (or another place that has WiFi internet, such as at school, work or a Starbucks). "Wi-Fi + Celluar" iPad, in addition to Wi-Fi, comes with the ability to access the Internet via cellular technology just like your cellphone (e.g., iPhone, Samsung). An iPad "Wi-Fi + Cellular" that has a paid plan from your wireless provider can access the Internet anytime and anywhere, regardless of Wi-Fi availability.

This question was asked about the related product: Apple - iPad (5th generation) with WiFi - 32GB - Space Gray
- A:Answer Bought my ipad2 back in August of 2013. It is still working today. These things last a long time as long as you take care of them obviously. I would expect nothing less from the latest editions of iPads. I will be upgrading to a new iPad soon. There really is nothing wrong with my ipad2 other than its starting to get kinda slow and sluggish but it's just something that happens over time from what I've read.

- A:Answer If you have WiFi at home already then you can connrct to it through the settings app. It says 'WiFi' because it works with WiFi only (and not things like cellular plans). However, you can host a mobile hotspot from a phone that the tablet can connect to.

Q: QuestionIs it difficult to read for us older folks who use reading glasses? Or would I be better off with a 12.9 inch screen?
Asked by babyboomer.
- A:Answer I am a baby boomer also and wear glasses. I find it’s print is adjustable, so that is not an issue. I find it’s just the right size as a bigger one might be to bulky when I’m sitting in my recliner relaxing and playing games with it on my lap.

Q: Questionwhere do you find the instruction manual?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You can actually download the user guide as an eBook right onto your iPad. You can also read the ebook on your computer, if you don't have access to your iPad. The book is downloadable in iTunes here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/ipad-user-guide-for-ios-10-3/id1134772572?mt=11 Just search iPad User Guide iOS 10 if that link doesn't work for some reason.

Q: QuestionIf i buy an iPad you do the data transfer from my old iPad ?
Asked by Chuck.
- A:Answer Typically there are two ways. iTunes on your computer can back it up and then restore your old one to the new one (few things need to be verified but if you can upgrade older iPad to the latest iOS, it makes the process easier). Second option is through the icloud backup (again tied to your iTunes user ID). I recommend the cloud as it’s more “non invasive” as once you start backing it up that way, it keeps your backup up to date as long as you plug it in once in a while and charge it with WiFi available.
