• No, this will be the max amount of RAM you can have. It is essentially built onto the CPU so it cannot be upgraded after the fact.

• My understanding is that the Mac is not upgradable in that way. Once you buy it with a certain amount of RAM, it’s pretty much locked in, unlike it would be with PCs, that are more easily upgraded.
