• An HDMI certified premium cable with 18gbps speeds would be the best bet to ensure 4k passes through properly. Cables don't necessarily need to say 2.0a, 2.0b or 2.1--that refers to the source, not the cable. See this: https://www.hdmi.org/manufacturer/premiumcable/faq.aspx

• To get the best 4K video you will need to buy the 2.0 or better hdmi cable. My personal choice is always monster cable.

• All HDMI cables are alike, you don't have to spend a fortune on expensive cables, buy the cheap ones they work just as well.

• HDMI 2.0a, 2.0b and 2.1 will get you 4K HDR
