Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) delivers cellular connectivity independently of your iPhone but must share the same carrier. You can purchase it directly from Apple or Best Buy, both can activate it on your carrier.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have not had any problem with service. The one time it didn't make a call all I had to do was restart my phone and my call went through the next time I tried. I set everything up at home and pay separately for my service on the watch through Apple. Love Mickey telling me the time and not having to carry my phone all the time
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the Apple Watch Series 3 with GPS + Cellular and when I was setting my watch up it asked if I wanted to activate the cellular option so I hit yes. It then took me to my Verizon app and I had to authorize and accept the +$10.00 a month onto my monthly phone bill to activate cellular. I didn't have to go into the Verizon store to be able to activate it, I did it all directly from my phone at home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would need to either call you provider or some providers let you do it online. I was told that you will get a new number just for the watch itself that you don't get to anyone and you watch will sync to your phone number on your account and it's only $10 extra on your bill. Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It receives cellular signal the same way your cell phone does. And no you don’t have to take it into a provider, just ensure you have the box it came in and call your provider. I have Verizon and it took less than 5 min to get the cellular working.
