- Answer No. You will get an immediate phone call. If you wire it to an existing wired doorbell system, it will also trigger your existing chime if its working.

QuestionCan I see the person at the door on my Echo Show, and talk to them using my Echo Show?

- Answer Yes. You have to configure that on the Alexa app on your smartphone first. then, when a person walks up- if you have motion events turned on in the alexa app- your echo show will say “motion detected at the arlo doorbell” (or whatever you titled it), then you can say “Alexa, show the Arlo doorbell” then the arlo video will display on your echo show- if you click on the echo show video screen- a mic icon will appear with words ‘mic off’ you have to click on those words to un-mute the mic so you can speak.

QuestionDoes this require a “chime” be attached to the existing doorbell chime inside the home like the wired model does?

- Answer It's not required, but if it is wired to the existing wired doorbell system, when the button is pushed it will ring the existing chime in addition to sending you an immediate phone call.
