The cameras are set via a phone or web application. You can change settings, view live camera feed, take images, review motion snippets recorded, etc. It's pretty nice! I have two cameras set-up at present.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check out the Arlo web site. They offer a pretty rich feature set for recording based on certain events.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These cameras are set to record on motion. I believe it comes out of the box to record 10 seconds worth of video. I set mine for 30 seconds. You can choose a schedule to "arm" cameras or create your own mode as you wish. Arlo now supports geofencing so when you (your phone) is out of a specified gps location it can arm them for you. This is more of a security system rather than a 24 hour recording system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.from your computer or your smart phone. go to arlo.netgear.com and find the app there (for the phone) they don't have an app for the computer yet, but theres a way to get it on your dashboard that I found. Otherwise, when you tell it what to do (ie. send an email) you can not only see whats going on, but sign right into arlo from that email.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.either from your computer or smartphone there is a menu to set it to record at certain times or motion detection, and you can set the sensitivity to a point. Then you can tell it to send an email or just keep a record for a week. If you want to keep it you have to download it yourself, but it's pretty easy.
