A:AnswerYeah, this camera system would work great for that. Especially if you can aim the camera at your car from your own window. If you can't, then it needs to be in range of the base.
A:AnswerNo you don’t need hoods as they are waterproof and seem to hold great in the Elements. You can purchase additional skins but doesn’t seem necessary.
A:AnswerNot sure. It works with my Arlo Pro base I purchased last year. I went to their web site and found that the older Arlo (not pro) wont work with Arlo Pro base.
A:AnswerYou could leave on charger but I don’t know what that would do for battery. I have to take camera down when battery gets low and charge it You could keep cord attached to camera and charge it by plugging it in if you have outlet close enough. Only thing with that idea is it makes it more noticeable. Cameras work great and if you don’t mind getting a ladder out ever couple of weeks I would say buy it. We have four and one in house. The indoor one does stay plugged in.
A:AnswerYes it should link to your base station like the 1080 version, but the video quality will depend on which camera is recording. It should work the same though.
