- Answer The G34 is intended for major Cable Internet Providers. You can configure it into a Wi-Fi router for Verizon Fiber Internet service. The Ethernet port 4 will be the WAN port and connects to the Fiber ONT device.

- Answer According to Mediacom's website, they recommend using the tested modems on their list. The G54 is not compatible with voice service.
