Minecraft can't be played on this as is. But it is possible with technical savvy, several websites provide direction to install Linux - either Crouton or by dual-boot. If the thought of this scares you then it may not be an option for you. That said my 14 year old walked through the instructions and got it working mostly without me. I did need to get involved when it came to ensuring network connections for multiplayer games.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes absolutely. The RAM and processor is more than enough to handle Minecraft. Now public online servers may be tougher but that's based more on the server space than the computer.
