I just bought the X555QA 3 days ago and had to research this. While it supports 802.11n/b/g/d, it doesn't support 802.11a, which is what gives us the 5GHz channels. The cheap Realtek bluetooth/wifi chip they used is limited to 2.4 GHz channels, which is disappointing.

From the popup window, click Network Adapters then select and double-click the Wireless device and go to the Advance tab and make the changes.
