“My laptop creaks by the left hinge and makes a creak when I lightly press down on the top part near the hinges. Is this normal?? I dont remember it doing this when I tried it out in the store.”

I do understand your concern regarding the creaks on the left hinge. Since the product is brand-new and the hinges were not used yet, you may hear creaks, which is normal. Once these hinges are moved more often the creaking sound will go away eventually.
