I purchased an LG Slim Portable DVD writer Model AP70NS50, and it works quite well with this machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no particular model of External DVD writer/player needed to connect with this unit, as long as it supports the Operating system or as long as it has the driver for the system then it should be able to connect with this unit.
