Any recommendations on brand or model? Also, how do you transfer Windows and some of the data (will not be able transfer all of the data because SSD will be smaller than installed hard drive). I suggest the Samsung 850 EVO it's crazy fast. Also just buy a usb enclosure and samsung has software that will clone your current HDD to the SSD before the drive swap. It's very convenient, I've used it multiple times for a couple of asus laptops as well as my desktop
