you can hook it up to a monitor and use it as a desktop. If you buy the external inputs you can kind of use it as a hybrid console but it will not operate like a switch where you place it down and play on the couch for that you need an external device that will allow the rog to connect to the tv with hdmi then get a wireless controller and connect it to that or connect to the rog with Bluetooth.
