Q: QuestionASUS - Why are you saying the cooling is sufficient when it is obviously not according to all these reviews? “Our products go through rigorous testing….” Did someone get fired for this?

• A:Answer Depending on use case scenario and ambient temperature, there will be some issues regardless, for one, you want to have the fan curve a little steep to insure there is no thermal throttling. This case does suffer from no additional fan compatibility though, so unless you want to zip tie fans to the chassis, you will certainly have issues during the summer unless you have a very cool house.

Q: QuestionI just ordered this on an impulse but now I am scared about the cooling issues. Have they been addressed at all with any updates or are these exactly the same as they were 6 months ago? I think I already know the answer but I figured asking wouldn't hurt.

• A:Answer Still the same. The issue is the cpu cooler and the rear exhaust fan. The cpu cooler is really anemic and can't contain the power hungry cpu and the back fan is a 3 pin DC fan so it runs super loud

Q: QuestionWhat size fan would fit in this tiny pc case? 120mm or 140mm? If 140mm i plan to try and cram 4 Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.Black.swap 140 mm fans. Or any other suggestions. I don't plan on switching another case, even though it isn't ideal.

• A:Answer Honestly, as determined as I was to keep the case, I was forced to change it. Firstly, even the lowest profile RAM will cause problems with any real fans you try to put in there. I ended up switching the case, getting much better RAM, and an AIO cooler, and haven't looked back.

• A:Answer The CPU cooler isn’t what’s making the majority of the noise. The rear exhaust fan is what’s extremely loud. I would recommend replacing it with a Noctua or equivalent fan and maybe adding an intake fan. This would be a solution under $30 that won’t require pulling the CPU cooler.
