Just set this up yesterday so haven't had experience with temps, but I do notice that the rear fan seems to be set for quiet rather than cooling efficiency. It starts and stops and often runs at low speed. Perhaps there's an adjustment in bios or a fan speed program to make the cooling more aggressive/less "quiet"? I'll update after I get a chance to explore things more (not at home with the computer ATM).
