QuestionDoes ASUS have a timeline for when they might have the upload speeds fixed when using this with Verizon FIOS? It's a known issue but it seems like ASUS is ignoring it so far. Gigabit FIOS service and my download speeds are good, my upload avg 150mb/s!

- Answer The WAN input is 1Gig or 2.5Gig LAN RJ-45 connector. You still need a separate MODEM to interface to your Internet Service Provider.

QuestionI have an att modem/router that my fiber optic plugs directly into and it seems like a different port (bigger) than an ethernet. Can I plug fiber optic directly into this router? Ive seen different answers for similar questions.

- Answer The default LAN address on an ASUS router will be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.50.1. You can change it after you set it up by going into the settings for the LAN and changing the IP there. Depending on the firmware it will have several options to choose from or it will allow you to enter your choice.
