QuestionWhy would you use a processor with integrated graphics if you are using a discrete graphic card? Seems like a waste of cores and a not very well thought out build.

- Answer It is for power management and system efficiency. The discrete video card doesn't have to keep running if less power is required, that the integrated GPU can handle. Also, by doing this, it can prolong the lifetime of the deasktop PC, as a whole.

- Answer Yes, the desktop PC can only bootup using the onboard GPU, without the discreete GPU card, by disabling the Nvidia GPU in the Device Manager > Display adapters.
