• Yes, it does and can be turned on by using the keyboard. Press F7, it is suppose to be picture of a keyboard with a light shining on top of it.

• I purchased this laptop from Best Buy and it DOES NOT have a backlit keyboard. You have to spend over $800 on a laptop to get this feature, in my experience and I purchase A LOT of laptops!

• The version I purchased does not have back lit keyboards.
