QuestionI know this laptop has a 120Hz refresh rate, but it reverts to 60Hz after a restart, it so annoying!. Is there a way to make it stay at 120Hz after restarting?

- Answer make sure to check out the preinstalled myasus app to turn off the automatic refresh rate changing mode. From there, you can go to setting and set the refresh rate permanently

- Answer I don't know about Valorant, but, I did try to play Fortnite. I was consistently getting 101 fps, but, it kept crashing so I didn't get to enjoy my game.

- Answer For that price, it should be the 16 GB RAM. I bought this same one and mine definitely has 16. Hope this helps. Remember, Best Buy has a 15 day no questions asked return so buy it and if it's 8, return it.

- Answer I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but maybe this will help. The screen size is measured diagonally, that is 14.5 inches. The actual Zenbook footprint is 8.9 inches x 12.7 inches, so not really that big depending on what you are measuring as 14 inches.

- Answer If you go to Asus's website, this color isn't available in their store. This color appears to be exclusive to BestBuy but i haven't looked for it anywhere else because the price was excellent here.

- Answer I have not seen any issues on mine, actually I wasn’t familiar with the ASUS but the quality of the display caught my attention when I was looking for another one, so far I think is a very good choice.

QuestionI just purchased mainly for school but decided on this model because I thought it could handle some gaming. As a test for gaming, I can only run Fortnite on low settings & 1080p at 30 fps with lag and the laptop gets extremely hot. Is this normal?

- Answer This particular machine is capable of running a lot of high graphic demand games but it's not a gaming laptop. The higher the demand on the graphics card the hotter it will get the more you push it. You can try an external cooling pad that lets more air get underneath if you're using it on a table or maybe have a fan blowing across it when you game with it. Gaming machines have graphic systems that are designed to stay cool. Too much heat in a computer is not good as it will eventually melt all the solder joints. The one we bought gets warm watching movies but that's the extent of the graphic demand we put on it.

- Answer You need 8GB or more VRAM on an external GPU for gaming. Increasing the storage size is not necessary.
