- Answer YES...each handset has a special battery that RECHARGES when the handset is in its recharge cradle base. Eventually, the battery will not hold a charge and you can reorder a new one through AT&T's website. I know that the recharge bases/cradles for some of the cordless AT&T products are 'cross-compatible'. Its possible that the batteries are as well.

QuestionDoes this phone … Also have a feature, that sends some messages thru to your phone carrier? The phone I have now (not AT & T) Does that lame feature … which is why we are changing Regards

- Answer Not by it's self. The phone has Bluetooth to sink your cell phone which will allow these land line phones to sound out what your cell does, ie, timer, alarm clock, and calls.

- Answer They may, look on the little plugin power unit that goes into the wall socket. If it says 120/240Vac on the Input power, they will be okay. It is all automatic in this little unit.
