A:AnswerThis phone system works perfectly well with a traditional landline.
It also works perfectly well with an internet phone service. HOWEVER, the box does not contain a DSL line filter that you will need to enable this phone system to work via an internet modem. Please bear in mind Best Buy do not tend to stock DSL line filters in their store.
A:AnswerThe system is set up to answer after three rings, but you can change using the handset menu. I have mine set to 4 rings. It can be as many as 6 rings. I hope that helps.
A:AnswerPretty sure you can. If your house is quiet, you might have to make noise every now and then or it thinks you hung up. Also keep an eye on the battery and switch to a charged handset if it gets low.
A:AnswerWas told by clerk at BEST BUY, he indicated ‘vaguely’ that the batteries should last the life of the phone. BUT, here’s the but, in the manual they give the replacement battery BT162342/BT262342 and you can order online or call ATT at their number.
A:AnswerYes, it can. The front of the handset has a white, circular button under the digital screen, which says "Call Block." The chrome ring around that button holds the volume adjustment keys. "Vol. Up" is on the top and "Volume Down" is on the bottom. Gently tap either one until you adjust the volume accordingly. It can be done: 1) While you are talking on the phone, 2) When you pick up the phone and notice that the dial tone is very loud or very low, or, 3) When you dial a number and it rings either too loudly or not loud enough.
A:AnswerYes you can but you might run out of battery if you have lots of contacts to enter cause the battery is not even half charged (my took over 10 hours to be fully charged).
