I was able to switch my port from Safelink Wireless to my new LG Phoenix 3 with AT&T prepaid service, so I could keep my same phone number. Just give Boost a call and check on it, like I did with Safelink Wireless...or better yet, call AT&T Customer Service and ask them. I believe that I could have kept my Alcatel cell phone with Safelink, but not certain since some cell phones don't have the right technological capability. LG Phoenix 3 was less than $40. Worth it!!
