A:AnswerThe device usually you would sit in the back room with the PS4 we have three bedroom house and there is a two restrooms and a kitchen in between the living room where the Xbox 360 console is located so in between there and the signal having to pass through all of those walls the signal strength was excellent no buffering for YouTube or Hulu or Netflix it's just too expensive and you will actually burn out 5 gigs if you hop on YouTube your 5 gigs of lb burnt out in one night. Strong connection excellent service work smooth ran the PS4 Xbox 360 and three handheld devices all at the same time but just too expensive not for home travel only
A:AnswerYes you can we use hours on the PS4 Xbox 360 tablets HTC and other name brand or whatever devices and it runs smooth you stay connected it can handle up to 10 devices it has an on and off switch where you can put YouTube in a certain mode to where it won't eat up so much of your data where it streams everything and 480p is just like turning your mobile hotspot on your cell phone and hooking up to it just at an accelerated speed of 4 G very good but too expensive to continue to buy data if you can they do have another option where you have to sign with the two-year agreement and you just pay it like you pay on a monthly bill which I would much rather prefer that one than anything I didn't know I wish I would have known I would have went with that option but the prepaid I can't keep up with it is too expensive but excellent product
A:AnswerIf your cell phone has the ability to become a hotspot itself you can use that. Check the ATT website. This hotspot is a much more secure connection than open hotel wifi.
A:AnswerYour cell phone plan has nothing to do with the hotspot. They have separate data plans. Streaming requires a large amount of data so on a phone that gets throttled down I dont think you could stream well. It takes about 2 gigs per hour to stream.
A:AnswerYES. Just like you would add a go phone. Don't go to the AT&T Store. Contct AT&T. You have to have ready the IMEI number and chip number. The unit is basically a phone that never shuts off. You will have to do the setup on it yourself but its not hard. Once it is connected to the network you can rock n roll.
