Asked by Anonymous.
This question was asked about the related product: Audio-Technica - Audio Technica AT-LP60X-BK Turntable - Black
- A:Answer Yes. This turntable includes a pre-amp. Just set the output switch to “Line”. The connection on the back is a single 3.5mm audio jack, and comes with a cable that splits l - R into RCA plugs, so cabling to your speakers will likely require a different cable

Q: QuestionI have a 20-year old Technics Receiver SA-EX140. Is this turntable compatible? Thank you.
Asked by Klink.
- A:Answer Yes it’s compatible with this model it has a phono red and white connection and an additional power plug that goes straight into an outlet to give it power I would suggest not actually plugging the power cord in until you get it all setup because mine automatically started playing and it will drop the needle on the platter wether you’re ready or not and damage the needle or have a record ready incase it starts automatically the first setup cheers!

Q: QuestionIf I don’t have an amplifier and a sub woofer can i still play music with regular speakers??? I have never owned one of these before so I want to make sure I can still get sound connecting speakers to it
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This is a turntable NOT a record player. You can't connect speakers directly to it. It must be connected to a receiver, amplifier or some stereo system that allows for audio in.

Q: QuestionWill this work with Bose wave
Asked by Ron.
- A:Answer Check your Bose wave for an AUX input jack on the back. If the AUX input is the Red and White jacks type input, the turntables provided audio cable will connect directly to it. If it is the single 3.5 mm stereo type input, you will need a cable that has a single 3.5 mm stereo male plug on each end.

Q: QuestionCan I hook this up to my Samsung tv and sound bar? Also, can this be hooked up to blue tooth ear buds?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It depends. Your TV or sound bar will need to have an audio input jack of some kind on it, either the dual RCA (White and Red) jacks' type or a single 3.5mm stereo type. Bluetooth earbuds, no, this model does not feature Bluetooth. Consider the AT-LP60XBT Turntable instead if you also need Bluetooth connectivity.

Q: Questioneverthing hooked up right but acts like it isn,t getting power , checked and getting power to everthing else.
Asked by crazyboy.
This question was asked about the related product: Audio-Technica - Audio Technica AT-LP60X-BK Turntable - Black
- A:Answer Check the belt routing. The belt comes preinstalled around the drive rim on the flipside of the aluminum record platter (see below), but you have to finish installing it by placing it around the motor pulley after installing the platter on the spindle. Make certain that you are placing the belt around the brass-colored motor pulley after installing the platter. To check this, simply remove the black felt record mat from the turntable and rotate the aluminum record platter by hand until one of the large rectangular shaped openings in the platter is located in the upper left corner of the turntable (at about the 10 o’clock position). Look into the opening and locate the brass colored motor pulley. Is the belt around this pulley and is the belt taught? The belt does NOT go around the white post located on the right side of the turntable (at about the 2 o’clock position).

Asked by Guddu.
- A:Answer Yes. It has it's own amp so it can be connected "inline" to L/R AUX, CD, DVD, etc L/R RCA inputs. If connecting to "Phono" on the receiver make sure you use the "Phone" on the turntable. There is a switch on the turntable that allows you to chose between inline or phono.
