“Can this unit be removed without damage to the vehicle interior? (for example after lease return) I would like to install this unit (or something similar) into a vehicle that I lease but I am worried that it is a permanent fixture that cannot be removed without damage to the vehicle's interior. Is this true? Thanks!”

You will have to discuss with the installer but in most cases, they simply remove the existing overhead lamp and install over the existing hole with the existing cable. The only thing to be aware of would be the fact that after three or so years of the player being installed, there may be some sun discoloration/difference between the covered section and the rest of the headliner.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had to make an access hole for the wiring and to put excess wiring in roof cavity, if you have a light in the area, it would work, put you still need to have the mounting screw's to make holes.
