The purchase of the player was great, installation at the store took forever, but in the end, we are very happy. Bought bluetooth headphones and the kids watched while we drove in relative silence. The player is easy to use and playback is so far flawless with store-bought DVD's. Note: This is not a Blue-ray DVD player, so Blue-ray's will not play. Also, used the USB connection with iPod and was able to watch and/or listen to iTunes library. Working great.

The player itself works great. Options for USB, SD, video aux, and of course direct DVD. Also adds two interior lights to your vehicle which operate with your normal lights. Only complaint is the buttons. They are not intuitive to the on screen commands and the remote has many unneeded buttons and is missing a few that would make things simpler (directional buttons for menu navigation, for instance).

Bought and had this installed for my grandchildren on longer trips. The picture quality is good and the older (8yrs) grandchildren had no problems using the controls or the remote. The only thing was that I didnt want the sound system hardwired and my younger grandchildren won't keep headphones on so I had to had to string wires for battery operated speakers since this didnt have bluetooth.

So far so good. I got this installed by a professional because I wasn't comfortable cutting a hole on the roof of my new van. Best part about it is the price versus paying thousands of extra dollars to get the higher end minivan that has the built in dvd player. It works fine, no problems. You do have to buy IR headphones for it, but you can find ones that are not that expensive. You can add as many headphones as you want, I do not think there is a limit. I suggest buying the headphones because going through the FM station in the van is annoying and does not sound clear. Plus, you won't have to listen to the movie while you drive.

Overall, this model is much impressive compared to other competing models. Great value considering the picture quality and features and price, Definitely a great choice for parents that travel with kids or just like having a DVD entertainment handy for those long road trips.

My wife and I bought this for our road trip to Disneyland. The fm transmitter is garbage. Its just static and nothing else and there is no blutooth. However using a audio cable and a external speaker everything works great. There is a audio port that the cable plugs into on the back (drivers side) of the dvd player. I definitely recommend buying this. Best Buy installed it and we havent had any problems.

I had this dvd player in my other car and this is the second one I bought. Picture quality is fantastic, sounds great.

I like the definition (pixels) and the design (colors)

Everything works good, the sound thru the FM radio gets interference sometimes if your in a city area.

Love that it keeps my 3 kids happy but the reviews aren't a match to its features. I really expected better for my overall $1700+ purchase. I really wish I had bought the headrest mounted screens as this unit does block rear view mirror use.

This is a good Audiovox - 10" LED-LCD Vehicle Monitor with DVD Player - Black, good side.

The dvd player works fine, nothing spectacular about it. Not sure if it's the wiring or not, but seems to freeze and skip up a lot on multiple dvd's - so I know it's not because dvd is scratched.

Very pleased overall. Would like a built in speaker so the car radio could still be used if the little one isn't interested in wearing his headphones.

It works out great for watching movies while on long road trips. The USB port is a great idea.

The overhead DVD player in combination with the wireless headphones is a great product for us. We take 12 hour drives at least 5 times a year and our two children watch their movies from the backseat without my wife and I having to endure listening to it. It allows us listen to XM radio and talk while we drive. The installation was done very professionally by Best Buy while I waited.
