• A:Answer Technically, you can use a variety of slicers like Orca Slicer. The printer will direct you to Bambu Studio, which is a house variant of Orca Slicer. It is pretty good in my experience and has versions for Windows and Mac. The Windows version is somewhat more capable, but it is not a game changer for most applications. It is free and there is not a subscription or anything as of this writing.

Q: QuestionOut of the box can the unit print with carbon fiber and fiber reinforced materials?

• A:Answer Short answer is yes. There may be some it can't print, but it can deal with anything the X1-Carbon can and then some. It can't do some of the higher temperature filaments that the X1-E can process though. The Bambu website covers this in more depth.
