Q: QuestionSo, is the small lightning cord a SEPARATE cord to be attached when recharging, or is it permanently attached to the headphones?

• A:Answer Charging cord is any lightening cord that works with an apple product (iPhone/iPad). I like better than the micro-usb charges.

• A:Answer I got a black set. The little nylon bag it came with was black. I think the red and the white are also black. It does come with a short lightening cable, but if you have a lightening cord for iPhone, you can use it to charge your Powerbeats. The lightening cable plugs into the right earbud.
