QuestionGet out of standby mode? Once the machine goes into standby mode I can't seem to figure out how to make it brew again? The only way I have found it to work is by turning it on and off using the button on the side. Great product for the price!

- Answer I think it is a safety feature to avoid overheating the top platform which is used to warm up coffee cups. So yeah, you gotta reset it with the on and off switch .

QuestionI own another 20 bar espresso machine; bought this Bella for a family member. I am disappointed at how it slides on the counter and is lightweight requiring physically holding it down to slide on espresso component. What do you suggest for nonslip?

- Answer Hello! Thank you for contacting Made by Gather. Proposition 65 https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov/ All food contact parts are safe, it has to pass testing. Anything using certain types of plastics must have this warning if it’s sold in the state of California. But you may see these labels in other states as well. All brands have this. QuestionCan I adjust the amount of coffee for a 1 shot and 2 shot espresso? I've seen where the Bambino and the Gevi allow the user to change the amount of liquid (time) is pushed through for the 1 shot and 2 shot settings.

QuestionHow can I remove the filter basket from the cup? The instruction manual shows cup and basket separated (see pic) but they seem fixed in the cup. Need to be able to separate to clean. I can hear water/oil/coffee ground in there when I shake it.

- Answer There’s little notches on the side of the portafilter, you have to align the little bump on the basket into that notch. Hope this helps.

- Answer LOL @ Bella Customer Service. 0)Watch the video and note the middle where it says "Cappuccino." 1)Go to YouTube and look up instructional videos on how to make cappuccino. 2)Pull the back of your shirt collar up so it sticks on the top of your head, raise your hands up like a POC in a traffic stop and repeat in a high voice "Cappuccino! CAPPUCCINO!! I Am Cornholio! Need TP for my bung-ole!" 3)Profit.
