• A:Answer Yes, but with a very small TV you may see the bracket (which is 18.23" long) extending out the sides of the TV. A newer 32" TV will be about 16.5" wide in a vertical setup, so you would see about an inch of the bracket on either side. Anything bigger than a 32" you probably won't see the bracket at all.

• A:Answer The cords stay. They allow you to remove the TV from the wall mount. If you pull down on the cords, the TV attached brackets (2) will release from the wall mount. The strings are long and if you have a smaller TV just tuck them behind it.
