A:AnswerApparently not all services are covered even though it is called TOTAL. They wouldn't even replace a laptop fan that another repairer did in 30 minutes. I'm using that laptop months later right now to provide you with a suggestion to avoid Worst Buy.
A:AnswerI think you can ask customer service and they will ask some security questions. I myself don't remember my mem. no. mention you have a total tech membership when you buy a device
A:AnswerHello and thanks for reaching out with this question. We understand wanting to add the protection included with your My Best Buy Total™ membership to an item received as a gift. Typically, purchases must be made on your My Best Buy Total™ account to receive protection plan benefits, but the item can still receive tech support as part of your membership. Depending on when the item was originally purchased, additional options may be available. We recommend visiting a Best Buy store or reaching out to our support teams on Facebook (facebook.com/BestBuy), Twitter/X (@BestBuySupport), or Instagram (@BestBuy) and mention this is in regards to your My Best Buy question. Our support team would love the opportunity to learn more and assist!
A:AnswerMy experience has been just the opposite. Specifically when dealing on line. The agents fixed some issues and did a clean up for faster speed. I use them on a quarterly basis and have never been disappointed!
A:AnswerAbsolutely. If when you purchased you had an active membership then yes the will most likely replace them. Small chance of having them repaired
A:AnswerI found out that it is easy to cancel, because I had to cancel my contract for failure to honor the apparently NOT REALLY TOTAL contract. The GEEKS are also FRAUDS. They refused to replace my laptop fan that another repair store did in 30 minutes right in front of me while I waited. YES it was a delicate operatioin that had to be performed carefully, but that's why I originally signed up for TOTAL with the GEEKs. I thought they were experts instead of very young inexperienced kids managed by incompetent leadership.
A:AnswerI have not used the haul away for any appliance. Please check with someone that will have the right answers you can chat with the Geek Squad member from your computer
A:AnswerFar as I know no. When you purchase the item it asks if you want it installed and old one removed. You pay extra for that. Total tech covers repairs.
A:AnswerI don't think so. You have to purchase coverage. I purched a not out box, plus Best buy 1 year Membership with Geek Squad availability IT'S WORTH IT
A:AnswerYes. But they dont repair in the store. They come to your house. They charge a service fee. Over 60 dollars. I bought a new one for less than the service fee at Best Buy. I have total tech also.
A:Answeri've had several TVs mounted with totaltech but now i can't seem to order a TV without paying additional to have mounted or "installed" nearly doubles the price of a TV with installation a mount and cable port.
