- Answer Yes, it has been doing great on mine, when I moved in there was some type of yellow stain that I couldn't remove and that is why I purchased the Powerfresh in the first place. It took a few minutes, but it did remove whatever it was and the floor looks new again! E

- Answer The instructions say that the mop is not intended for unsealed floors. They also say that "...use on waxed or some unwaxed floors may result in a diminished glossiness." I would use caution if you have hardwood floors.

- Answer Honey if it was heavy I wouldn't be using it. It is very light. The amount of water you put in it will not make it heavy at all. Go to the store and pick it up. I think you will be very pleased with it.

- Answer Instructions state distilled water only, unless you purchase one of the Bissell cleaning solutions that are recommended. Sometimes I mix a solution of Murphy's Oil Soap and water in a spray bottle and spray it on the hard wood floor before steaming. Hope this helps!

- Answer You can purchase a Carpet Glider tool separately. It's part number 2038429 and can be purchased through BISSELL online or over the phone at 800-237-7691. The Powerfresh Steam Mop with the soft white microfiber mop pad on sits on top of the Carpet Glider allowing you to gently refresh your carpets with the power of steam.To refresh your carpets it is recommended to move the steam mop in a continuous motion over your carpet.This item is not intended to be used as a carpet cleaner, only as a carpet refresher/deodorizer.

- Answer Yes, I use it on my sealed Hardwood floors. I believe in the manual it also states that it is safe for laminate as well. It does a really good job with my very finicky hardwood floors.

- Answer When I use the steam mop on my hard wood floors, I use it on the lightest setting. It will discolor the wood if left sitting in one spot while you wait for it to warm up.

- Answer We are currently using it on luxury vinyl flooring. I can definitely see it being a good unit for laminate. Just dont want to get the floor overly wet. The heat from the steam helps dry quickly with an application of a fan blowing across the floor.

- Answer Hi Jmh - Steam temperatures around the steam outlet get no lower than 94 degrees Celsius (201 degrees Fahrenheit). It is important to remember with the pad off, steam cools significantly when it hits the ambient air.
