• A:Answer It should work on Windows 8 but you should probably just upgrade your machine to Windows 10. The upgrade to Windows 10 is free in almost all circumstances I have seen. Back to Bitdefender, when in doubt contact Bitdefender. But since they make their product available for multiple operating systems I can make a fair assumption it will work with your machine. • A:Answer Windows 10 S mode does not allow the installation of products outside of the Windows 10 store. So simple answer is no. You can however turn off Windows 10 S by following a couple of steps online but be warned you are more likely to contract a virus, malware or spyware if you start downloading installation files from the web. And you cannot return to Windows 10 S without likely factory restoring (confirm this with Microsoft). Hope this helps.
