“Can the sensitivity of the camera be adjusted to avoid recording, say, birds flying through the FOV? For me the cameras would be observing the two outside entries, and there are many birds in the vicinity.”

Yes, and there is also a feature that allows you to pick particular section tof the screen to detect and not detect motion... Probably one of the best features this device offers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, there is a sensitivity setting as there is also time setting to record a longer video. Just know that the more sensitive the setting can affect the battery life. The nice thing is we bought two sets, so we have six cameras, but only use one modular. So we have a spare in case one goes bad. Our cameras cover all doors and the back porch area , our dog doesn’t set it off, but people do. We also have two inside that we set off, but so far our dog doesn’t . She weighs around 60 lbs.
