Q: QuestionHow is the sq. ft calculated? (We have 15 foot vaulted ceilings with an open floor plan, single level home. Living room and dining room combined is about 20 x 35.) We live in the country and have to dust daily due to high traffic/pets. Recommendations?

• A:Answer HI there! The square footages are calculated with an 8 foot ceiling. We generally recommend that customers with high ceilings go a model up. 20 x 35 alone is 700sqft so I'd recommend looking at our Pro XL or multiple smaller units.

• A:Answer The carbon filter is built into the filter and is purchased as one unit. The air passes through an outside initial filter {included in initial purchase but sold separately from the inner Hepa/carbon filter} then through the frame of the unit where it reaches the hepa filter then passes through the carbon filter.
