A:AnswerThe only way it can be used on carpet is you have to take off the main brush. Bob kept getting stuck and had an error code on thick or shag carpeting ( rugs ). I don't know about carpet that is not thick.
A:AnswerIt does not have an app. You use a remote to assist with its system. We didn't have it long enough to see how it works with mapping. Also, it didn't come with any way to mark off rooms you didn't want it to go into. Those accessories you had to buy separately.
A:AnswerIt has both wet and dry capabilities. There is a microfiber pad that you can choose to wet in mopping solution or attach dry to dust, in which that velcros to the plastic mop bracket that you attach to Bob when you want to mop. There is no attachable water tank, just the pad and bracket.
