• It sounds as if you may be inadvertently muting the conversation. Doublecheck that the mute/hold button hasn't been pressed.

• Check your settings and make sure the mic is on and volume is up....

• I have this phone, never had this issue unless I accidentally muted it. I'd take it back, mfg warranty should cover it if with in 30 days
