• No chick you cannot. You have a 30 second button that you only need to push and the MW starts. But for everything else, you need to put in the time and press start. That being said, It's a great MW! dude

• No. However, you can press the 30 sec. button multiple times to attain the desired time you want it to operate. eg. twice for 1 minute, 4 times for two minutes etc
