Bosch 300 comes with plug and drain hose. If your current Whirlpool is plugin, no extras needed except elbow for drain hose. If your old whirlpool is hardwired, then you need to purchase junction box separately. We had seamless transition from Whirlpool Gold 3 to this dishwasher. What a difference in sound reduction and cleaning!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a 3 pronged outlet you will be fine (power cord is included). If you have a direct connection to the power line, make sure you get the junction box designed for Bosch, which is around $20 or so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Bosch 300 series uses a standard 110 volt grounded plug. With the washer purchase, the company provides an electrical cord to plug into both the back of the unit and into the wall plug. You can also direct wire the washer into an electrical box as an option, although that is an extra cost for the direct wire cord purchased from Bosch. I would guess that your old Whirlpool would have one of those two types of an electrical hook-up, so the install of the Bosch 300 should be very easy for the electrical.

I have an older Bosch and when they came to install I was told I needed a junction box or have an electrician come and re-wire because my old dishwasher was hard wired in. The junction box was was cheaper. The dishwasher is now being installed on Friday.
