Questionis this a side mount to the cabinet or under mount to the countertop?

- Answer It's was not mounted to the countertop. We have stone top. It was mounted to the cabnets. It has a bracket. I would have to check if it is mounted to the side or top.

- Answer Hi there, thank you for your question. On average, (depending on usage) about every 4 weeks the salt needs to be re-filled. There will be a salt indicator to let you know when it is time.

QuestionPrevious model has several reviews about a horrible odor from the tub that can't be removed and about plastic cups, etc washed in that machine having a permanent odor. Have these issues been corrected w/ this model?

- Answer I have noticed a slight odor that was present from the start before machine ever used but nothing terrible. Have washed plastic items that have not picked up any odor.
