A:AnswerIf you are only doing one load a week, keep the round filter in the bottom middle of the dishwasher clean. Also make sure you have it installed with a loop or something between the dishwasher and your garbage disposal to stop garbage from draining into your dishwasher. The instructions mention both of these. The loop especially is a normal problem with incorrect dishwasher installations.
A:AnswerHi David. Thank you for your question. The SHPM65W55N does have feet that can be raised. Here are the maximum and minimum heights: Height - Maximum (in) 35 Height - Minimum (in) 33.88.
A:AnswerBosch uses condensation drying instead of a heated coil so the best way to get the dishes the driest is to use the Extra Dry feature which uses a hotter rinse and helps the dishes dry. Most of the condensation is on the door but the racks may have moisture left on them. With no coil you can put dishes (plastic) on any rack and not melt them.
The dishes are clean and sanitized.
A:AnswerI have email BOSCH twice, 9 months apart each time because I am so frustrated with the bottom rack not fitting my dishes.
Both times they told me this:
"Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a substitute for the rack since we only test the unit with the rack it comes with."
I have since been to numerous junk yard looking for bottom rack and trying to get them to fit. None of them did. Yes, I am this desperate!!!
I HATE THIS DISHWASHER!!!!
Good luck.
A:AnswerYeah, the dishwasher works great, and the red floor light tells me that it's running, but nothing else (like when it will be finished). I guess I've just never seen a dishwasher that you can only turn on with the door open. (I am the OP.)
A:AnswerI have hard water and there has been no problem so far -- I have had the 800 series for about 3 months. I am not familiar with "salts" that you can put in the dishwasher, but you could possibly put it in with the detergent in that little pocket. You MUST use the liquid Finish product for sparkling clean dishes, and it works GREAT. As to the 500 vs 800 series question, it is wonderful to have the third rack in the 800 -- i use it for every small thing and often for the silverware as well. All in all it is a great dishwasher, though it does get a musty smell if I don't air it out after the cycle finishes (I leave the door open for a while -- also helps the dishes cool). I have ordered a dishwasher cleaner that should take care of that, though.
A:AnswerYes, it has front (2) and rear (2) adjustable feet’s. Both are adjustable from the front. The rears adjust by turning one screw located in bottom front. The front adjust separately by turning with a flat screw driver or an 11/16” wrench.
The washer is smaller than the 34 inch height, but has neat black rubber gap covers that conceal the side gap. And had a bottom black metal skirt that is adjustable.
A:AnswerYes, the junction box is included with the dishwasher. It's well made and attaches easily to the cabinetry with 4 screw ears. Use cabinet screws instead of sheetrock screws so you don't split the mounting ears.
